We specialize in hosting tournaments that challenge players while inspiring mutual respect, collaboration, and a love for chess.
Our events provide a platform for players of all levels to demonstrate their skills, exchange advanced strategies, and build enduring friendships.
Our members won the 2025 Ontario High School Championship (both the Crown section and the Beginner section!)
Our Story
The Steinitz Chess Association began as a high school chess club founded by three passionate players.
What started as a small group has grown into a thriving community, united by a shared love for the game and a commitment to helping players improve, one move at a time.
